Black Island Farms

Julia's preschool organized a field trip to Black Island Farms. I love the place, not to mention it is a great opportunity to snap some cute pictures of the kids.
These are Julia's peers from her class . Half of the class is made out of kids from our ward so that is awesome.

We spent about 4 hours in this place. Feeding the Llamas, looking at animals, trying the bounce house, slides, and of course their cute little train.
The main event of the day was going on the hay ride into the pumpkin field to pick our own pumpkin.
Since these pumpkins are all inclusive with the price I usually have the kids pick a big one, but this time I had A.D on my lap, so some little cute pumpkins is what they got and they carried them themselves too.

There are so many cute places to snap a pictures atin this place I couldn't resist posting my favorite ones.

Missionary Reunion

On friday October 1st our family went to South Jordan for Spencer's missionary reunion.
After almost getting lost trying to find a new sub-division that our GPS didn't show, we are glad to say we made it and we were able to see some of our old friends.
It is special to me to be able to recall with Spencer special people and places about his mission. For some of his companions were my great friends who helped me become a member of the church.
It was so nice so see them again, although not all of our friends were there, it was great to see faces we hadn't seen for years.
The night was beautiful. When we came out of the church building we were able to snap a great picture of the Draper temple.

september slipt away!!!!

What to say about September but that it went by so fast. Between the end of the soccer season, beginning of school and doctor's appointments it was so suddenly over.

On September 9Th our little girl had her first day of preschool.
She was so excited about going to her school she couldn't wait. Woke up super early even though we had just returned from our long trip to Yellowstone.
We wonder about home teaching this year again, but we were so please seeing this girl interact so well with other people.

Other first was our first day at the tumbling school. We had asked Julia if she wanted to do dance this year again and she told us she rather do tumbling. She gets so excited watching gymnastics on TV and she really wanted to learn how to do head stands and flips and all that fun stuff that comes with tumbling.
I am glad we found this cute little place: Flip Side Tumbling. The best thing about it is that is located only 3 minutes away from our house. She is loving it!

On September 30Th the kids had their first field trip. They walked to the Syracuse Family Fun Center. I loved seeing her walking hand on hand with her friends.

Among other things we have had friends over for "tea"parties and play time. Julia loves to have her friends around and Josh felt really special by having the attention of 3 cute girls.
So that was pretty much my September; running, dashing, cooking and entertaining. It was gone in a flash and didn't noticed it until it was October 1st

3 months

Andrew is growing faster than I can blog. I just did this a couple of weeks ago. Anyways, my little A.D keeps growing and are delighted to find out more and more about his personality.

At 3 months
He loves to :
-make bubbles with his spit... very cute
-play with toys.
-look at his mobile
-see mommy in the morning. He always has a smile when I go to pick up from his crib
-to have his warm lavender baths before bed time
-swing. As long as his sibblings are nearby the toy to entertain him
-he is a talker. He would goo and gaa non-stop until he gets hungry
-to sleep on his crib. He is sleeps from 9:30 until 5:30, 8 straight hours!!!. Of course at 5:30 he needs have a snack, but most of the time he goes back to sleep until 8:30 the next day.
-Eat his index finger. He makes really loud sucking sounds once he has found
-have belly time

He doesn't like:

-To get out of his bath. he could lay there forever
-to be alone anywhere. He needs to hear noises
-when his bottle becomes empty and he wasn't done eating yet.
-to get out of his pj's in the mornig, but who doesn't?
-his pacifier. we tried and we failed
Can do......

-Believe it or not he is rolling over!
-can eat and never be filled, he nurses and needs a bottle afterwards still
-barely fit into 0-3 months clothes any more :( I cried putting the little stuff way
-wear size 1 shoes perfectly and size 2 but they fall out of his toes all the time
-still wear newborn socks> he still has tiny toes.
-grow his nails like a mad man. I cut them once every 4 days and still they seem too long
-make the biggest and most adorable frown in the world
-fit on 0-3 month baby hats (Julia and Josh were on size 24 months by the age of 6 months)

sleeping patterns:

-3 naps during the day, at any given time, but them he is usually awake from 6 until 9:30 that he goes to bed

-Nights are getting better thanks to those lavender baths. He can sleep for 8 hours at night

I love my kids They are marvelous. They do drive me crazy but they also make me the happiest mom in the world.

Now that Spencer is working every night until 10, I am treasuring the moments I get to spend alone with Andrew after I put the other kids to bed.

Sometimes I feel that as the third child he gets pushed to the side lines a lot and doesn't get all the attention he deserves.

So nights are my way of making out for it. Just this little boy and me. Looking at each other, no TV, no nothing, just him and I. I know he understands is his time of the day because he smiles at all the silly faces I make to him and grasps on to me as if telling me to not let go.

Don't you worry my precious child I'll never let go.
