It has been a busy month for Julia. She started preschool and also dance and swimming lessons. She loves it and today she couldn't stop talking about her whole day, but I am dead tired! I am just writing this post because the kids are asleep and my hubby isn't home from work yet, so i have nobody asking me for the computer HE He just kidding.
He signed her up at a new school just 2 mintes away fro our house. It is called Syracuse Dance Academy. They start their lessons with tap dancing, She was thrilled about making music with her tap shoes and wouldn't stop trying them out at home and since they are very slippery shoes, she ended up on the floors a couple of times.
they also teach her ballet and finally artistic dancing which is her favorite.
The dance to the music and do red light green light, but my favorite part about this segment is that they get to put on darling skirts and twirl around the room with them
Later that evening she went to swimming lessons. She loves the water, but hates swimming, figure that one out. She was great most of the time right until the teacher submerge her head under the water and that was it. She didn't trust the teacher again for the next 5 minutes. Luckily this happened towards the end of the class, so she didn't miss that much.
While I was busy trying to get some pictures of Julia my little silly josh was paying attention to the teacher right in front of us who was showing the kids how to take the strokes.
I turned around and to my surprise this boy was copying the teacher. NO kidding!!
Today was a great day for him. He used the potty for the first time. he came, grabbed me and did his business.
We spent the next 10 minutes celebrating and hi5ing each other.
I had brought up the potty from downstairs just to try it out, I had no hopes or even the desire to be potty training a 16-month old baby.
But there you have it, miracles do happen. And although it was probably a mistake and he might never do it again until he is 4, i would always have a happy memory about this day.

Ummm....Gaby if you get Josh potty trained at not even 18 months I think I will just sit down and cry. Luke is not even close and I want to die thinking about getting him going on the horrible task.
