On November 13th we attended Spencer's G'ma's funeral in Cornish, Utah
Although I only knew her for a couple of years and visited her just a handful of times I was able to appreciate her and love her.
She truly reminded me of my grandma who passed away many years ago. They both had that strong and tell it like it is personality, yet you still knew they were gentle and sweet and GREAT cooks.
She passed away peacefully and gladly, she was finally able to move on to a better place and I am sure she had quite the welcome awaiting her, not to mention the though of having her reunited with her sweetheart who she dearly missed.
It was a lovely funeral.
She was buried in hillside over looking the place where she grew old at, where she lived her life, right next to her husband

It is a beautiful cemetery up there isn't it? It was a wonderful funeral. I am so glad that we know that Joyce is now with the first A.D. enjoying each other's company without all the baggage of old age. I'm sad that Keldrie never got a chance to meet her, but I suppose she will get the chance eventually. Love you all!
I'm sorry for your loss. She looks like such a sweet lady. I lost both of my grandma's this year with in a month of eachother.. it's very hard to loose a loved one, no matter how close they were. I'm so grateful for what we believe.. I don't know if i could have handled it otherwise!
Happy late birthday! You are so stinkin cute, I love your blog!!
