Julia at 7 years
Weight: 60 lbs.
Height: 48.5 in
My sweet little girl is growing up on me. I still can
believe how big she has gotten. I can’t lift her up anymore and she is starting
to get her own opinions on how she wants her hair and what she wants to wear.
Like Spencer says I can’t play Barbie with her anymore
If I could use one word to describe her it would be
precious. I am so lucky to have her for my oldest child, for my only daughter
for my little confident and friend. So many times we conspire against those
boys especially during movie time. It is hard for us girls to watch our girlie
shows without having someone complaint.
You are a little mommy indeed; you love to watch Andrew and
Daniel for me. You are always there to help them. They smile when they see you
and you are always remembered in their prayers. Joshua absolutely worships you.
He doesn’t know what to do when you are not around. He loves being your comrade
and best friend. Between your sweetness and thoughtfulness and his cleverness
and his outgoing spirit you guys make a great team.
At seven you wear size 1 shoe, size medium clothes, you love
your hair in a ponytail but you let mommy do one of her weird hairstyles often
enough. Your favorite color is still yellow and your favorite food is cheese pizza. You have lost 4 teeth so far and have made $4 from the tooth fairy. You have tried staying up late to see that silly fairy but so far you haven't been able to catch her. You thought is was very tricky and unfair of her to collect tooth # 4 while you were in school.
You finally broke out of the 50lb weight that you've had since
you were 4 and to your excitement, you are tall enough to ride in all the cool
roller coasters in Lagoon and Disneyland.
You love your purple room and you love having your noise
maker on when you go to bed. You have a
pretty set night time routine. You love to read your books with me then have
daddy sing songs with you.
You are not a morning person but are very responsible and
wake up when your alarm goes on and get ready for school all by yourself
You love tumbling still. You can do backhand springs all on
your own and can do back flips on the tramp. Your brothers think that is the
coolest thing ever.
You are taking piano lessons now and love it. Every Friday
after your lessons you come home and teach me all the new things you have learned.
You love to play with your daddy and are so proud to show him all the new songs you can play.
You are a perfectionist. Everything has to be done just
right or you get frustrated. I am afraid that has rubbed off from me. If you
use this quality right, you will be able to achieve anything you set your mind
to do.
Mrs. Powell, your teacher, loves you. She is so impressed at
your level of learning. You are reading at a 2nd grade level already
and your Spanish is coming along beautifully.
You love Saturday morning chores because that’s when we put
music and we dance to the beat of Michael Jackson and my Spanish singers. You
love my taste of songs.
Oh my girl, you re such a blessing in our lives, we are so grateful for you every day.
My littlest man turned 7 months in March too. I can’t
believe how big he is getting. He is about 20 lbs. right now, he can roll over
both ways, he can almost sit by himself, and he can grab things with his
fingers.
He loves his little Similac bottle; no other brand does the
trick for him.
He loves bath time, specially the splashing part when he
gets mommy all wet. He hates getting out of the water to get dress.
He recognizes people more easily now. I love to see him
bouncing up and down when he sees me coming near him. He makes me feel so
special.
He has jumped a couple of sizes cloth wise. He totally
skipped the 6 months cloths and went straight for the 9 months and even then
they are kind of snugged.
His little toes have not changed much tough. He can still
wear a size 1 shoe.
He has 7 teeth now and loves to chew on mommy’s fingers.
I love this little man, I love all my kids but the fact that
he might be my last baby has made a stronger bonding between us 2. Happy birth-month
my little luv.
