What a special month this was!.
Julia won not one but 5 Halloween coloring contests the first thing she said to me after getting her $25 gift card to Warrens was, now I can buy food for my family! what a sweet girl. She won a total of $120. I think other kids would of asked their parents to take them to toysRus right away, but not her. She run straight to her piggy bank and I heard her saying to her brother Josh later on that day " I am so rich, Josh, maybe if you are a good brother I'll share my money with you"!
Andrew has changed so much these past couple of weeks that I have to talk a bit about what his been up to.
First off he is accident pro. He doesn't pay attention to where he is going and what he is doing which usually results on him getting hurt some way. We finally got his "blue" cast off. here's one last picture of his casts. his arm according to the doctor, is as strong as ever if not stronger.
He is talking a lot more. He can say clearly, "No Josh, that's mine" that's what brothers are for right?
He is still in love with trains but bulldozers are a big pull on this kids too. He loves to watch videos of bulldozers on the ipod with daddy.
His favorite toy is a monkey that josh got when he was 2. He wakes up saying: "where is honkey"
he loves toys, specially if they are Josh's. He can spend hours on this chugintong lap top even though he has no idea what he is supposed to do. He loves it because it plays train sounds.
He is very sneaky. If he finds something that he is NOT supposed to have he hides in a corner and plays with it. Here I was looking for him everywhere in the house, finally I found him hiding under his play table in his room eating a piece of Halloween candy that he managed to get somehow.
His number one hobby is to tackle Josh all day long, poor Josh can't keep up with him most of the time.
My cousins(sisters) came to visit from the Big Apple right after hurricane Sandy devastated a lot of NYC. Thank goodness Reego Park where they live didn't suffer much but boy were they glad to be out of that mess for a week. After a lot of panic of their flight being canceled they finally made it to Utah. I got to drive to the airport for the first time all by myself with the kids. That was exciting.
Kathy and Sally came to help me celebrate my 30th birthday.
We had so much fun while they were here. Ate out a lot, went swimming, we pampered ourselves one day and went to a spa for four hours. We got a full body massage, manicure, pedicure and hair style.
We went shopping one day, spent the entire day going from store to store finding pants shoes and shirts.
We also went to Antelope Island. It was beautiful with a little bit of white snow covering the ground not to mention we saw a few bison's.
Sadly they had to go back home after 4 days of pure fun.
Spencer had taken some days off from work to be with us and before heading back to work we went to Rodizio grill. The only place in Utah that has 'pan the yucca', a delicacy in Ecuador.

City Creek Lights
I decided we needed to get started on the christmas spirit. i took the kids to see the lights at city creek. We had some yummy food and even made an appointment to see the Big Guy himself for the first time. the kids loved going inside the disney store and getting some ideas of toys they wanted for christmas because believe it or not, they only want 1 toy each, which is fabulous but I think they can do better.

Thanksgiving
This was an amazing day, no pictures though, I forgot the camera but as tradition we celebrated it with Spencer's family. delicious ham and potatoes. I am so thankful for all the things that I have in my life: four amazing kids who made me laugh everyday, a hard working loving husband who I adore, a safe place to live and of course the gospel because it gives me the knowledge that this family who make my days so amazing will be sharing eternity with me.
