Sometimes it feels like time has stall and it is until their
birthdays that you come to realize how much your kids have really grown. This
man is five years old and ready to start kindergarten.
Joshua has developed his own taste on things for sure. He
would rather eat a bag of vegetables rather than sweets. You name a vegetable
and he will for sure eat, except for raw red onions, which he thinks are too
spicy.I don’t fear buying a whole full bag of salad from Costco because I know that Josh will make sure it gets eaten before it turns bad.
Joshua’s favorite candy are fruit snacks, all other sweets
are not that appetizing to him.
He can read now and is really good at putting puzzles
together.
His favorite shows right now are transformers and Jake and
the never land pirates. I can hear him everywhere making transformers sounds
and singing the Jake and the pirate’s songs.
He is not too much into sports; he’d rather be talking to
people or building things. He is a very
thoughtful young man. He has no reserve whatsoever when it comes to talking to
people. He is always asking the why of things and he is always checking and
inspecting how things work. His inquiring phrase is: “Hey, why are you……? You
know you’ll be talking to him for a while if you hear that question coming.
We still don’t know if he is right or left handed. Every day he changes his mind about it.Joshua is a morning person he is always awake by 6:00 am regardless of the time he went to bed. Bed time for him is around 7:00. I am sure this is a good thing it just doesn’t feel like it right now. I am not a morning person.

they just loved them
So here is my invite
On Saturday we had a friend’s party first. We had cupcakes,
played some games and had a great time.
The decorations
R-2 D-2 cups
Yoda Soda
Light sabers
Joshua Loved his party and I had fun getting ready for it. Happy Birthday my Jedi
After the friends it was time for our family party. Joshua loves his cousins and had a blast playing with them the entire afternoon.
On Sunday, his actual birthday, daddy made him his favorite
breakfast food, pancakes. Before going to church he opened his presents and was
thrilled to find a new bike. That made
up Andrew’s day as well because as the younger sibling he got to inherit Josh’s
old bike.
