Piano recital
Julia had her second piano recital at the Layton library.
She did so well. No mistakes at all! The musical pieces were: The Indian Dance
and she had a duet with her teacher and played the Sleeping Beauty song.
They had a contest going on to see who practiced the most.
Julia didn’t win but boy did she try!
Bricks4kidz
The school was sponsoring an after school activity. It was
called breks4kidz. The kids got to play with legos and build things that actually
had motors on them. It was amazing to see these little kids work on big
projects.
Joy school
It was my turn to teach again. I had the thanksgiving theme.
We did some cute turkey hats.
Nursery
The moment that Daniel started walking was the moment when he decided he could start doing other things as well, like wrecking the library The Primary President took pity on me
and told me I could bring him to nursery early. So here he is all ready for his
first nursery visit. He will be in the same nursery as Andrew until Andrew
moves up to sunbeams.
I am thankful for essay and art contest
The kids had a contest in school. They were to submit an art
project and an essay about what they were grateful for.
Julia took second place in both art and on the essay. Joshua
took first place on the essay. He was so thrilled to get a $5 gift card for barnes&nobles.
He actually found a space book that was 4.98 so it worked out perfect.
Pudding
It looks like Daniel inherited the same way of eating his
chocolate pudding as Andrew, by smearing it all over their faces.
Newest baby cousin
we have been waiting for the moment that we got to meet this
cute little girl. Julia was in heaven
